Josh founded Nelson Imports in 2009 with an emphasis in Mercedes-Benz service and sales. His zeal for Mercedes began at age 16 when he restored his Mom’s Mercedes 190E. Throughout college, Josh continued to wrench on these elegant machines. He has been committed to repairing and restoring these vehicles ever since. Over the years, Josh’s passion and expertise with Mercedes-Benz vehicles has earned him recognition in the industry. He is fluent with new and old models. With over ten years of professional business and service experience, Josh is the go to guy for all of your Mercedes needs. In his free time Josh enjoys spending time with his daughters; Piper, Winter, and his wife Chelsea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chelsea signed on with Nelson Imports January of 2017. In line with her German heritage she keeps Porsche and Mercedes vehicles close to her heart. Chelsea has a keen eye for locating fine European automobiles. She can assist you in finding the European auto that suits your fancy. What started as passion has now turned profession for Regis. With several years of experience in the automotive field, Regis leads our service department. Over a warm cup of coffee, he can keep you updated on the status of your vehicle’s needs. Ask any question, simple or complex regarding your vehicle Regis will give you straight and precise answers. Regis also has a knack for internet technology, he is responsible for keeping our shop online. Regis is an avid Mercedes-Benz enthusiast. He loves taking his Mercedes CL500 Designo on spirited road trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tim joined our crew in 2014. He has a lengthy background in the automotive industry. His experience in automotive education, parts sales and automotive repair make him a well rounded technician. Tim can diagnose and repair all makes and models to OEM standards. With an emphasis on BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover you can feel comfortable knowing he is under the hood of your vehicle. Tim can handle any job, from a complete engine refresh to customized upgrades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ivan Rivera, Technician<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ivan joined the Nelson Imports team in 2022. Ivan grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to Minnesota when he was 14. He fell in love with cars at a very young age, assisting his Grandfather with repairs in the garage. When Ivan isn’t working on cars, you can find him riding his motorcycle or hitting the trails on his bicycle. BMW and Mazda are Ivan’s two favorite vehicle brands to work on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Stanton<\/strong>, Auto Body & Glass Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas is our auto body and glass technician. At a young age Thomas found a love for unique cars. Following his heart, he enrolled at South Central Technical college and earned a degree in Auto Body Repair. He has been working within the industry ever since. With over 10 years of professional body shop experience, Thomas is the guy you want replacing your autobody glass. Outside of work Thomas enjoys restoring his xr4ti Merkur and his Nissan 240sx Turbo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilgrim (PG), Customer Experience Specialist<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

PG is also our canine greeter. Pilgrim is a purebred blonde Border Collie. As we don’t have any sheep to heard, PG keeps himself busy chasing shadows instead (He\u2019s quite entertaining to watch).
